Founded in May 2013, White Print is India’s First English Lifestyle Magazine in Braille. Over the last nine years, the monthly magazine has fulfilled a long-standing void in the lives of persons with blindness by becoming their essential source of Braille literature comprising articles, op-eds and vignettes on politics, culture, sports, travel, entertainment, food, short stories and a lot more. Printed at the National Association for the Blind, the magazine is circulated across India, reaching far corners of the country.
At White Print, the mission is to embrace the values of inclusion and diversity. To ensure these values are inculcated at a young age, the company forayed into publishing children’s literature in 2018 with an illustrated storybook titled Look Out, Look Within. Followed by an e-storybook – Flowers for Sunaina – in 2020.
The latest picture book is Run Saba, Run! An adventurous, fun-filled journey of Saba and Kabir, penned to bust myths related to sports played by persons with blindness and encourage the bloom of diversity and inclusion in young minds of today.
